Why the Sellers Loved Living Here

1. The location! We loved being a short walk to Capitol Hill and Pike/Pine while feeling completely removed on a prestigious, quiet tree-lined street. It is central to everything.

2. Community: the community at Mayfair Manor is one of a kind. A beautiful blend of newer residents and some that have been around for decades. The amount for pride and care this community embodies is inspiring.

3. Our favorite restaurants, bars and coffee shops are a short distance. Pony, plum, barrio, Marjorie, Chucks Katy’s corner, Raider Doughnuts and Porchlight coffee and Records. Bring your pup! Most of the shops have doggie treats :)

4. Downtown: You can walk to downtown to see a movie or enjoy drinks at Foreign National or Terra Plata in 20 minutes,

5. Transit: There are multiple bus lines on Union and Madison, the Seattle Streetcar, and Capitol Hill Light Rail station all within a short walk.

6. The grocery shopping options are endless! Madison co-op, the new PCC, Trader Joe’s, Safeway and of course the Broadway Farmers market in the summer months.

7.  View: Overlooking the community managed year-round garden, enjoying the pink clouds created by the surrounding cherry blossoms and the view of downtown skyline are breathtaking. Reading or doing work by the bay windows can be distracting:)

8. Character (Bldg/Unit): Original hardwood floors, light fixtures, coved ceilings, wood trim, copper gutters and leaded glass are a few of the features that captivate your heart the moment you enter.

9. Parks! There are so many amazing parks nearby to sit and enjoy the sunshine in.

10. Pet-Friendly: Mayfair Manor is home to many pet family members, with a mix of dogs and cats throughout the building. You typically don’t hear pets unless someone says “treat!”
